Ways to pay less (from YATR's own guides)
- Book Monday to Thursday. YATR says weekday rates are lower than weekend rates.
- Go off-season. YATR names September and October as the most affordable months.
- Book a shorter charter. 4 hours is the shortest duration in YATR's booking widget.
- Fill the boat. Most yachts take up to 13 guests. Splitting one total across the group lowers the cost per person.
- Bring your own drinks where the yacht allows it. YATR says "Most charters allow you to bring your own food and beverages."
- Avoid the 4% card fee. YATR says wire transfers may not incur it.

When we checked on October 17, 2026, yatr.co showed a banner reading "First Five bookings Each Month get $250 Rebate". YATR doesn't publish the terms with it, so ask YATR how it works before counting on it.
Does YATR have a referral discount?
YATR's FAQ says existing customers can share a referral link from their User Portal, and when a friend books, the customer who shared it gets a discount on their next charter. The discount goes to the person who shared the link, not to the friend.
How can I pay less for a YATR charter?
YATR's own guides suggest booking Monday to Thursday, going off-season (they name September and October as the cheapest months), choosing a shorter charter, splitting the cost across your group, bringing your own drinks where the yacht allows it, and booking 2-4 weeks ahead. YATR also says prices are fixed and can't be negotiated.
